InfoThis first-time candidate is fast becoming a rising star in among BC Conservative ranks. Challenging two established and well-known candidates for the seat, Jesse is poised to be the surprise winner in a seat that has been held by the governing Liberal party for far too long. Lending credence to the adage that hard work, integrity and honesty pays off; Mr. Johl will be a fresh face to Ottawa once elected on June 28th.

Jesse was born and raised in Vancouver Kingsway and went to Charles Tupper High school where he developed the values of community and the importance of maintaining strong neighbourhood roots. He went on to attend Douglas College and Simon Fraser University where he studied biochemistry.

He returned to the riding to develop and run a family business with his brother. He is currently on a leave of absence while running as the Conservative candidate.

His community service includes volunteering at the G. F. Strong rehabilitation clinic, Expo 86, the Police and Firefighters' Olympics of 1989; Camp Good Times and until last year, Canuck Place.

Jesse comes from a large family and is close to his two brothers and three sisters - all of which are actively working on his campaign
