Tim’s hometown is Tucson, where his family lives and works. His mother, Cheryl Lockhart, was an English teacher for 30 years at Amphi High School in Tucson. Now she teaches at Pima Community College. His father, Dr. Sultan is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Arizona. Tim's brother, Tarik Sultan, and stepfather, Roger Wolf, own a law firm in Tucson, Wolf & Sultan P.C. Roger recently completed a four-year term as President of the Tucson Audubon Society and is an Arizona delegate to the Democratic National Convention. Tim's stepmother, Beth, is a retired Tucson public school teacher and his younger brother, Taj, is a student at the University of Arizona.
