InfoDate of Birth: March 6th 1932 in the Province of Saskatchewan.

Status: I am married with no children.

Current Occupation: Self-Employed Businessman.

The majority of my public education occurred in Shaunavon, Sask. Graduating with a high school diploma in 1949, followed by one year of pre-medical studies at the University of Sask. in Saskatoon. It was there that I began an eighteen year career in radio broadcasting, working in various capacities in nine major cities across Canada, ending up as an advertising consultant at a Calgary AB, radio station.

In 1970 I joined a leading furniture systems organization, active in the oil patch and business community in Calgary, achieving considerable sales success in fast expanding economy. During a seven year tenure I completed a number of courses in sales and marketing.

In mid-1977 I relocated to Westbank B.C. where we have lived to this day. The recession of 1980 to 1981 put an end to the office supply company operating in various locations in the B.C. interior, where I was employed to develop sales in the hotel industry.

Fortunately the management of a leading Vancouver office furniture group approached me to set up a separate division concentrating on expanding sales in the hospitality and seniors health care fields.

In 1993 after sixteen years I parted with the company and set up a consultancy in the hotel accommodation field from an office in Kelowna where, to this date, I still function in a self-employed capacity.

Regarding politics, in 1993 I was encouraged to run for The Canada Party, in an East Kootenay B.C. riding, campaigning on a very vital issue of banking reform. Again in 2003 I was chosen as a delegate in support of David Orchard at the PC Leadership convention in Toronto where I experienced first hand the political process at work.

My personal interest is centered in philosophical pursuits with a aim to serve mankind in whatever principled way possible.
