| Info | Erik Millett is the Green Party of Canada candidate for St. Croix-Belleisle.
Erik holds a Master’s degree in Education (High Honours), from University of New Brunswick, in Fredericton, NB, a Bachelor’s degree in Education (High Honours) from St. Thomas University, in Fredericton, NB, and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree (High Honours) from Carleton University, in Ottawa, Ontario, and is currently completing his Principal’s Certificate. Erik also has Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training, ASIST: Crisis and Suicide Intervention Training, and Extensive training in Conflict, Conflict Resolution and Mediation.
Erik works as Lead Teacher/Administrator for the Alternative Education Programme in the province of New Brunswick, and is a contract consultant with Katimavik National Youth Programme. He has also served two years as a Don in Residence at UNBF mentoring and working with student leaders, worked with middle school “At Risk Youth” in an Outdoor Education environment with Partners for Youth, and worked as Project Leader for three years with the National Youth Educational Programme Katimavik.
Erik sits on the Board of Directors as Member for the St. Andrews Youth Action Centre, and on the Board of Directors as Member for the John Howard Society, Charlotte County. Erik is also a Member of the New Brunswick Teachers’ Association and a Member of the Katimavik Staff Alumni Association.
Erik also speaks French and Indonesian.
