InfoA dynamic business leader with a history of dedicated service to country and community, Jesse is running for Congress to bring his “get it done” attitude to Washington where career politicians have failed the American people. From lifting himself out of poverty to creating hundreds of jobs, Jesse’s life has been defined by overcoming one challenge after another. Jesse is driven by the desire to make Massachusetts a better home for his family and for all residents of the Commonwealth.

A first generation American, Jesse grew up in a single-parent home in Taunton, and spent many meals at neighbors’ houses while his mother worked three jobs to provide for the family.

At 17, Jesse enlisted in the Marine Corps. During his four years in the Marines, Sergeant Brown served as a Field Radio Operator. His service took him across the globe to stations in Japan, aboard the USS Anchorage, and back home at Camp Pendleton.

Honorably discharged in 1999, Jesse returned home to the South Shore with little more than the clothes on his back. He settled down in Plymouth where he began working as a technician building cell towers. In 2007, Jesse decided to take a leap and formed Heidrea Communications – a fast-growing company specializing in wireless communication infrastructure construction. Through Heidrea, Jesse has created hundreds of high-paying jobs, and the company was recognized as an industry leader by the Small Business Administration.

Governor Charlie Baker appointed Jesse to the MassHire State Workforce Board. An optimistic force for job creation and economic advancement, Jesse advises Governor Baker on building a system of workforce development that ensures the people of Massachusetts have every opportunity to pursue a job on the leading edge of a global economy.

Jesse founded a nonprofit, Heidrea for Heroes, to provide custom support to returning veterans. Whether providing business attire to veterans applying for jobs, a new roof, or a custom piece of mobility equipment, Jesse and the team at Heidrea for Heroes work each day to make tomorrow a better day for one of our country’s heroes.

Since its inception, Heidrea for Heroes has assisted over 1,000 veterans and their families across Plymouth, Bristol, Barnstable, and Norfolk counties.
