| Info | Clare is committed to achieving a fairer, greener world in which her family can thrive, with an optimistic future.
A pharmacist-turned-medical writer, Clare also serves on the Parish Council in Bugbrooke. Since becoming a Councillor in 2021, she has helped to establish the Environmental Working Group, which focuses on the practicalities and challenges of a community seeking to live sustainably, organizing litter picks, re-use days and other initiatives. As a founding member of Climate Action West Northamptonshire, Clare writes for the online forum and hosts climate cafes to support people who feel frustrated and worried about the climate crisis. She strongly believes that with the right government policy and leadership, we can have a just and positive transition to a safer, sustainable society with a greater quality of life for all. This is the motivation for Clare standing for parliamentary election for the second time in Daventry, where she hopes to build on the increased vote share she won in 2019, up by 2.4% from 2017. Having listened to the frustrations of many local residents through her voluntary work over the past few years, Clare is pleased to be able to give people the opportunity to vote Green.
