William grew up in Broomfield and in 2017, he purchased his first home not far from where he was raised. He is proud to serve the community that provided him with so many opportunities to succeed. He lives with his significant other, Bria, and their retired racing greyhound, Pax, in the historic Original Broomfield neighborhood.
William Lindstedt was elected by the residents of Ward 2 in 2019. His current term ends in November of 2023.
Occupation and Experience
William spent several years working as a staffer in the Colorado General Assembly, crafting public policy and helping Broomfield residents interface with their state government. William put himself through college walking dogs and working as an assistant to a goldsmith. Currently, William works as a public policy and public relations consultant.
William has been an active community volunteer in many local nonprofits, local civic groups, and as a youth chess coach.
Education
William holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado Denver. He is currently completing his Master of Public Administration degree also from the University of Colorado Denver.
