Bob Kinsey is a Colorado resident for thirty-six years who raised seven children together with his wife Rita. A United States Marine Corps veteran with three years of active duty, Kinsey is a twenty-five year retired veteran of public service as a history and social studies teacher, nominated as Golden High School teacher of the year, and recipient of the Governor�s Award for Excellence in Education. A retired United Church of Christ clergyman with a Masters in Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary and forty years of advocacy for the Just Peace theology, Kinsey was also a representative to the national Alliance for Nuclear Accountability, board member of the Colorado Coalition for Prevention of Nuclear War, and 1999 representative to the Hague Appeal for Peace.
