InfoDavid Sanders has contributed in many ways to Indiana.

Dr. Sanders, his wife for 17 years, Miriam, and their three boys, all of whom attend the West Lafayette public schools, feel that it is the time to make sure that the 4th District of Indiana is well represented in the United States Congress.

David Sanders is uniquely qualified to tackle the national security and health and technology issues that confront America.

David Sanders understands the challenges that farmers and owners of small businesses face. He will work to make certain that health-care costs do not overwhelm those who work for themselves or provide jobs for others.

A graduate of Yale University and the University of California at Berkeley, Dr. Sanders conducted research at UCSF and the Whitehead Institute (affiliated with M.I.T.) before joining the Department of Biological Sciences at Purdue University where he is now an Associate Professor. He enjoys playing basketball and tennis and reading about history and archaeology.
