Stuff you’ve seen a million times before.

What I am is the dad of three wonderful kids. Husband to an outstanding wife. A nurse. A Christian. An outdoorsman. A connoisseur of groan-inducing dad jokes. A shift-worker. An orange-and-blue Wahoo. And an unapologetic fighter for all Virginians, because of the simple fact that I wouldn't be who I am today without the grace, understanding, and support of the Commonwealth of Virginia and her people.
As a nurse, I see my fellow Virginians in times of need, crisis, and worry every day. I understand that it's my duty to provide compassionate, competent care for all people, regardless of who they are or where they came from. As part of a two-income household where every paycheck has to stretch and matter, I know how just important kitchen table issues are to everyday folks. And as a relentlessly average Virginian, I know how maddening it is to have representatives that have no idea how to listen- who’ve forgotten completely where they came from.
It's those recognitions that underpin our entire campaign, a people-powered, grassroots movement of everyday Virginians. Their strength and commitment is what will see us through to Richmond.a It's why we will always listen- really listen, not just waiting for our turn to talk.
It's why we will always keep the promises we make.
It's why we will stand strong for the interests of our Commonwealth by taking our campaign directly to Virginians- in meetings, town halls, and door-to-door conversations, going out to where people are, instead of expecting them to come to us.
It's why we are driven by issues and serious debate, not political gossip, personal attacks, or character assassination.
It's why we unapologetically prioritize the needs and concerns of everyday folks, and work tirelessly to address the kitchen-table issues faced by Virginia families.
And it's why we won't stop fighting until every Virginian has the kind of responsive and accountable government they deserve- one that’s looking out for them, first, last, and always.
