Bolton; reelected to the fourteen succeeding Congresses and served from February 27, 1940, to January 3, 1969; unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1968 to the Ninety-first Congress; resided in Lyndhurst, Ohio, where she died March 9, 1977; interment in Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
