Info | Bob grew up in the Erlton neighborhood of Cherry Hill Township, and is proud to tell people he comes from South Jersey. As a young boy, Bob spent summers in Ocean City with his grandparents, and took his wife on their first date to Ocean City 41 years ago.
He is running for Congress to protect our conservative values from the liberal elite and make South Jersey great again. He believes we need to protect American jobs, restore manufacturing in South Jersey, put an end to unfair trade deals, and secure our border. Most importantly, Bob believes the Second District deserves a congressman who will put the needs of South Jersey ahead of Washington and Wall Street.
Most recently, Bob was honored to work in the Trump administration as a senior advisor and acting associate commissioner at the Social Security Administration, where he implemented cost-savings in keeping with President Trump’s plan to streamline the executive branch.
Prior to his service to President Trump, Bob worked as vice president for government relations at the U.S. Business & Industry Council (USBIC), an organization committed to strengthening U.S. manufacturing and opposing unfair trade deals.
He has written extensively about the need to reduce our trade deficits, restore America’s manufacturing base, rebuild the country’s infrastructure and defense capabilities, and protect American jobs by ending outsourcing and mass immigration.
Previously, Bob served in President George W. Bush’s administration as a senior speechwriter and as an adjunct professor of government at Patrick Henry College.
Bob was born at the Cooper Hospital in Camden and graduated from Cherry Hill High School West, where he earned three varsity letters in swimming. After graduating from Cairn University, he earned graduate degrees from Wheaton College and Westminster Theological Seminary.
Bob and his wife of 40 years, Mary Alice, have three children, a daughter-in-law and one grandson. They share a home in Camden County as well as Ocean City.
