Dale K. Mensing has lived his life as a patriot. After attending Bob Jones University for two years, Dale enlisted in the Navy. He served as a neuro-psychiatric technician in the Navy's Hospital Corp. He served in the Navy from 1979 to 1983. Upon leaving the Navy he continued serving others as a medical courier in Humboldt County. Dale then went to work, serving the public, at Shop Smart Food Warehouse where he became an evening shift supervisor. Dale then became a public servant serving as Postmaster of Laytonville, CA. He left his postion as Postmaster to return to the grocery business.
