Jones; reelected to the twelve succeeding Congresses and served from November 4, 1947, to January 3, 1973; was not a candidate for reelection in 1972 to the Ninety-third Congress; resumed the practice of law in Piqua, Ohio; died in Washington, D.C., February 22, 1980; interment in Arlington National Cemetery.
