Info | Kathleen M. Tallarita, Democrat, is the State Representative from the 58th district in Enfield. Now in her tenth term, Kathy serves as Assistant Majority Leader and is a member of the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, Select Committee on Aging and is Chair of the Intern Committee.
Prior to being elected to the House of Representatives, Kathy had been actively involved in politics and government at both the state and local level. In 1997, she served on the Enfield Town Council, At-Large until 1999 when she was elected as Enfield’s first women to the Connecticut State House.
Currently, Kathy is employed as a Business Development Representative for Enfield Federal Savings Bank in Enfield. Kathy was born and raised in Enfield. Her parents Pat & Kay, her younger brother Louis, older brother Patrick; Enfield’s Mayor, sister-in-law Jeanette, niece Chelsey and nephews Andrew and William all reside in Enfield. Kathy attended St. Joseph’s grammar school and graduated from Enfield High School in 1983. She attended Asnuntuck Community College and graduated in December 2005 with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science; Public Administration from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT.
Kathy owns her own home in Enfield where she lives with her two cats Mondovi & Cosmo.
