| Info | Durkan comes from a political family, the daughter of the late Martin Durkan, a conservative Democratic state senator and gubernatorial candidate in 1968 and 1972. She is a close ally of former state attorney general and current governor Chris Gregoire and helped lead her defense in the 2004 gubernatorial election contest in Chelan County Superior Court.
