InfoDean Allison was first elected to the House of Commons on 2004. Mr. Allison is a successful entrepreneur and community leader.

Mr. Allison grew up in Southwestern Ontario. He received a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. After graduation, he became an employee and a franchisee for a major restaurant chain. Mr. Allison quickly accumulated restaurant franchises throughout the Niagara Region.

Each year, Mr. Allison offers his young staff thousands of dollars in scholarships, allowing them to continue their post-secondary education. Mr. Allison’s service for youth also includes helping to found the Dave Thomas Adoption Foundation in Canada, and supporting a project that brings children affected by the Chernobyl disaster, in Ukraine, to Canada.

Mr. Allison served the broader community as President of the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation, President of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, and as a director of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Dean and Michelle Allison live in Beamsville, Ontario, with their three children.
