InfoI’m a small business owner and an Albuquerque City Councilor representing the largest council district in our city. Over the past several years I have owned and operated two small businesses in New Mexico: Rio Grande Foam Inc., an upholstery supply company, and Rio Grande Rustics Inc., a rustic furniture manufacturer and retailer.

My community involvement includes serving as chairman of the Albuquerque Finance and Government Operations Committee and being a member of the Mid Region Council of Governments, the Metropolitan Transit Board, the Albuquerque / Bernalillo County Intergovernmental Commission, and the Albuquerque Public Safety Commission.

My educational background includes a Masters Degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. I am also a New Mexico-certified high school teacher and a New Mexico-certified athletic coach, having led many youth teams, including varsity programs all the way down to Little League.

My wife, Tracy, is a third grade teacher at Seven Bar Elementary School. Together, we are raising our two children, Madison age 15 and Jensen age 13. Tracy and I also founded the West Side’s Soul Rio Church. The church is a congregation of hundreds of adults and children where I serve as pastor.
