Info | Jane McKenna is a long-time community leader in Burlington and has lived there for over 35 years. In that time, she has been involved with many projects for organizations including Rotary Central, the Carpenter Hospice and The Heart and Stroke Foundation. A tireless volunteer, Jane is poised to deliver that same level of professional and dedicated service to her constituents that she has shown in her community.
A self-educated entrepreneur, Jane has recently launched her own company, Rainmaker Consulting. Her company builds on years of experience with in-house consulting services delivered to many of Burlington’s small businesses. Jane understands the threat posed to small businesses by a Dalton McGuinty government which includes higher taxes and increasing government red tape.
Access to healthcare is an important issue for Jane, one that many hardworking Ontario families like hers, depend on. Together, Jane and a Progressive Conservative government led by Tim Hudak, will ensure that Burlington’s families receive a better quality of life that they deserve by increasing health care spending by more than $6 Billion by the end of their first term. They will improve the care for seniors with 40,000 long term care beds and also increase investment in home care giving families more control over services.
Jane and her husband Tim have raised five children in Burlington.
