Info | Sen. Charles "Chuck" Morse, a Republican, was first elected to the New Hampshire Senate in November of 2002. Previously, he served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives for two terms.
Morse serves as vice chair of the Transportation Committee and is a member of the both the Capital Budget and the Public Affairs committees.
He is the president of Freshwater Farms Nursery and Garden Center in Atkinson.
Morse has been active in local and state politics and has served as a selectman in Salem. For two terms he also assumed the role of town moderator. He received the "Bill Brown Distinguished Business Person of the Year" award in 1997, and the "Richard P. McCoy Award" from the Salem Boys and Girls Club in 1994.
Morse received a bachelor of science degree from Plymouth State University. He resides in Salem with his wife Susan and their daughter.
