| Info | Mark has lived in Williamston his entire life. Like most people, he has worked a number of different jobs over his lifetime, doing what it takes to "pay the bills". About 10 years ago, Mark decided that he wanted to become debt free and spent the next decade paying off every bit of debt he had. This included rental properties, his home, all his family's credit cards, and their cars. He and his family lived within their means, spent their money wisely, and were able to face this current economic hardship without debt to worry about. This is what Mark wants to bring to the statehouse, a blue collar, common sense approach to spending: pay down the debt, save for the future, and spend only on what the state really needs to spend on.
