| Info | Elected first as a Wicklow county councillor in 2009, Simon Harris served on the council until he was elected as a TD in the 2011 general election. At 28, he is the youngest member of the 31st Dáil. While serving on Wicklow County Council, he was elected with the highest first preference percentage vote of any County Councillor in Ireland. Currently he is a Minister of State with special responsibility for the OPW, Public Procurement and International Banking. While in the Dáil, Deputy Harris has been a strong advocate for those affected with disabilities and Autism.
