Info | Jones is retired from the United States Navy as a decorated disabled veteran of three (3) wars, and he is a long time resident of Bucks County. As a person concerned about his communities and neighborhoods, James works to maintain education, peace and security with Weed and Seed Communities in Bristol, PA and supports open spaces in Bucks County. Having traveled in Africa, Asia, Middle East, and the Far East, James is a multi-experienced individual that has worked as a business consultant and trainer for national and international clients. James is concerned about how America resembles a third world country despite changes in presidents, America remains mired in economic, institutional and cultural purgatory.
James has a history of volunteering for service starting as a Boy Scout in rural Arkansas where he was raised as a sharecropper. He went on to become an Eagle Scout, and later volunteered to join the United States Navy during Vietnam War efforts, and he served on brother duty with his older brother. James has adapted his military background and naval experiences to help deliver national security instruments for the 21st century, which are one of the most significant challenges faced by the United States and its allies and partners. His military record and travels afforded him the opportunity to interact with foreign leaders, policy makers, and common people to offer needed national security support systems for sustainability. He served on active duty under Presidents Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Clinton and George H. Bush.
When James became involved with Bucks County politics, he worked very hard to help build the Republican Party’s brand. He worked on grassroots efforts to help get the vote out, build the names of republican candidates, created meet & greet opportunities, empowered church leaders with faith based initiatives, knocked on doors to distribute candidate literature, worked at the election polls and promoted conservative values as often as possible. When the Democrats took over the Congress in 2006, James knew the reputation of the nation would suffer. He saw run-away spending, increased taxes, government expanding, and foreign and domestic policies weakening our global position.
James has a BS in Education, Training and Development and a MBA in Finance, and he attended Law School in Atlanta, GA. His wife, Sharone is a 28 year employee at GE, and she works as a technical trainer. They live in Langhorne, and have five adult children and eight grandchildren.
