Info | Rep. Todd Richardson, a Republican, represents part of Butler County, including the City of Poplar Bluff (District 154), in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Richardson is a practicing attorney in Poplar Bluff. He is also an adjunct instructor at Three Rivers College where he teaches business law and national and state government classes. He previously served as the primary liaison for state level government relations at the University of Memphis.
Rep. Richardson is a member and serves on the board of the First Christian Church.
Rep. Richardson is a 1995 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. He received his B.A. in Political Communication from the University of Memphis in 2004. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Memphis in 2007. As a law student, Rep. Richardson led the University of Memphis to the finals of the National Moot Court competition and was recognized for outstanding advocacy and trial skills. He graduated from law school with honors and at the top of his class. He was also selected by his peers to give the commencement at his graduation.
Born December 26, 1976 in Cape Girardeau, Rep. Richardson currently lives in Poplar Bluff with his wife, Amber. They have a son, Sawyer.
