InfoRep. Kurt Bahr, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles County (District 19) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Bahr is an entrepreneur and small business owner. He previously served in the United States Air Force as a budget officer in Italy and Los Angeles from 2001-2006.

Kurt is an active member and ambassador in the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the American Legion, Missouri Right to Life, the National Rifle Association, the St. Charles County Young Republicans, the St. Charles County Pachyderm Club, the Saint Charles County Christian Home Educators, and is an active, contributing member of Crosshaven Church.

Rep. Bahr graduated from his family's home school in O'Fallon. He is a 2001 graduate of Oklahoma Wesleyan University where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science and history. Rep. Bahr received a master's degree in public policy from Regent University in 2008.

Born June 26, 1979 in St. Charles, Rep. Bahr currently resides in O'Fallon with his wife, Jennifer. They have four children, Micah, Lydia, Josiah and Judah.
