| Info | In 1996, I was the Libertarian Party candidate running for Congress in District 14 and Ron Paul was in a close race against his Democratic opponent, Lefty Morris. After being approached by the Paul Campaign, I polled District 14 Libertarians and with their consent, withdrew from the race to support Dr. Paul.
In December 2007, I helped kick off the Tea Party Movement in Brazoria County, supporting Ron Paul’s presidential campaign. I joined the Republican Party and was a delegate to our Republican State Convention in 2008 and 2010.
