InfoKemi Badenoch was born in Wimbledon and growing up also lived in the USA and Nigeria.

She works for The Spectator magazine, and holds degrees in both Engineering and Law. She has served as a governor of two inner London schools and sat on the board of one of London’s largest housing associations.

In 2006, Kemi was appointed as a project leader on David Cameron’s Global Poverty Policy Group and leads projects on the Conservative Technology Forum.

She also provides regular mentoring to woman who wish to pursue careers in technology, and has been a motivational speaker for the global TEDx programme.
