InfoCandice Bergen was first elected to the House of Commons in 2008. Since then, Candice has been appointed to the House of Commons Standing Committee for Transport, Infrastructure and Communities as well as the Standing Committee for the Status of Women.

Candice brings with her a wide range of experiences in both the political and business communities. She worked first in the financial planning industry and later ran her own successful consulting firm. In 2006, Candice was the Manitoba Campaign Manager for Stephen Harper’s leadership bid for the Conservative Party of Canada. She has acted as an advisor to several Members of Parliament, and served as Chief Organizer for the Conservative Party of Canada in Manitoba.

Candice was born in 1964 in Morden, Manitoba where she also received her education. She now resides in Winkler, Manitoba.
