| Info | Mrs. McQueen was elected to her first term as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for Drayton Valley-Calmar on March 3, 2008. On March 12, 2008, she was appointed parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Environment. In addition, Mrs. McQueen is currently a member of the Private Bills Committee and the Standing Committee on Resources and Environment.
Mrs. McQueens varied experience prior to serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta includes working for Amoco Canada for seven years, managing a retail business with her husband for 16 years and providing board development instruction with the provincial Board Development Program.
Mrs. McQueen is also active in her community and has served in the following capacities:

Canvasser for the Arthritis and Heart and Stroke foundations
