InfoLee Gentry is running for U.S. Congress in Arizona’s Fifth Congressional District. Mr. Gentry brings a global perspective to problem solving that he honed while earning his Master of International Management degree at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona. He understands different cultures, international diplomacy, and how elected leaders can positively influence international commerce and human rights.

He obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. By having a broad understanding of all facets of business, Mr. Gentry is able to appreciate the dynamic environment that employees in our state are facing and will face. Thus, he will work to ensure that federal legislation does not undermine the entrepreneurial spirit of Americans or hamper employees from reaching their career goals.

In addition, Mr. Gentry has a Master of Public Administration degree and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Mexico. The knowledge that Mr. Gentry acquired at the School of Public Administration provides him with the insight of how local, state, and federal governments interact. He also learned about the important role that nonprofit organizations have and how both public sector and nonprofit leaders can work together to create synergistic solutions.

As law student, Mr. Gentry obtained an incredibly strong understanding of the U.S. Constitution and how various Courts have interpreted many pieces of legislation. He knows how important well written legislation is in order to limit regulation, secure liberty, and ensure prosperity. During the summer after his second year of law school, Mr. Gentry was a law practice student at the school’s law clinic where he served a wide variety of low-income clients under his supervising attorney. It was certainly one of the significant moments in his life because you don’t have to talk with Mr. Gentry long before you realize how much he cares about those who are less fortunate than he is.

Mr. Gentry is a trained mediator which will be particularly useful when working to secure bipartisan support for innovative legislation that will move our country in the right direction. He acquired the skill of eliciting each person’s viewpoint in a rational way, ensuring fairness, and guiding mediations so that there could be a chance for resolution.

Mr. Gentry took many accounting courses during his academic career and passed all four of the CPA exams during his final semester in graduate school. His understanding of accounting will be an asset in Washington D.C. as he works to cut wasteful spending that has hampered us with almost ten trillion dollars in debt. He is also prepared to help reform our tax system so that it is less burdensome on taxpayers.

With regard to professional experience, Mr. Gentry has worked for more than a decade in the private sector where he held various leadership positions. He has worked for and consulted with entrepreneurs as well as managers and executives at Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Gentry has been described as a team player who makes everyone else on the team better.

Most importantly, he enjoys serving the needs of people in the community and making a positive impact in the lives of others. He has volunteered in the community in various roles with different organizations. Mr. Gentry is excited to serve you as the next U.S. Representative from Arizona’s Fifth Congressional District.
