Info | Rochelle Gray, a Democrat, represents North St. Louis County, including Black Jack, Spanish Lake, Bellefontaine, Riverview and a very small part of unincorporated Florissant (District 81) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Gray has worked as a Legal Administrator, in her father’s Law Firm, for over 25 years.
A graduate of Southwest High School, Rep. Gray attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis where she received a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Administration.
Rep. Gray is the daughter of former state representative, Elbert A. Walton, Jr., who served in the Missouri House from 1979 to 1992 and the step-daughter of former state representative, Juanita Head Walton, who served from 2000 to 2008.
Rep. Gray faithfully attends Christ, our Redeemer AME Church. She has served as their Youth Director for 8 years and was a Youth Advisor prior to that. She has been a member and served as an officer on many Hazelwood School PTAs, where she has received numerous parent-volunteer awards. She has also received Youth service awards, including the Annie Malone Child Advocate Award and she is a member of Unity PAC. Member of NOBEL/Woman, NBCSL, NCSL, Women Legislator’s of Missouri, Missouri Women’s Coalition, Women’s Democratic Caucus, Missouri Legislative Black Caucus and ALEC.
Born in St. Louis, Rep. Gray currently resides in Black Jack, Missouri with her husband, of 23 years, Alan. They have two children, Alan, II and Alana, whom she is very proud of.
