InfoBrad was born in Lake Forrest, Illinois, graduated from the University of Illinois in 1976 with a Masters of Science degree in Agriculture. He moved to Bozeman, Montana in 1980.

Brad has been involved in statewide Montana and Gallatin County Republican politics since his arrival. He served on the Montana Republican Party Executive Board form 1984-1989 and was reappointed to that board in 2003. He has been listed in Who�s Who in American Politics.

From 1983-84, Brad was District Representative for Congressman Ron Marlenee, during which time he managed the Billings field office and served as the Congressman�s liaison to various government agencies and the news media. From 1985 to 1989, Brad managed the Gallatin County Fair Grounds where he was instrumental in re-establishing the County Fair after a 40 year absence. In 1990 he returned to the political arena as a Republican candidate for US Congress.

Brad began working for RightNow technologies in 1999 until he resigned his position in order to devote full time to his effort to win the 2002 Republican nomination to the US Senate. In January 2003 he opened Four Corners Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts west of Bozeman � currently one of the most successful small start-up companies in the growing Gallatin Valley.

In July 2003, Brad announced his candidacy for Secretary of State, and is excited to carry-on the Republican efforts of the current Secretary of State. Brad has been married to his wife Lisa for 19 years.
