| Info | Steve Reed is the Labour MP for Croydon North.
Following boundary changes, Steve will be Labour’s candidate for Streatham & Croydon North at the next General Election. He was first elected in a by-election in 2012, and has been re-elected at three general elections since.
Labour’s leader Sir Keir Starmer appointed Steve to the Shadow Cabinet as Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. He was previously Labour’s spokesperson for Justice, and before that for Communities and Local Government.
Since becoming an MP, Steve has worked hard for local people. He has helped local people with over 120,000 individual cases.
