Member of the Board of Directors of the Little Blue Valley Sewer District
In recognition of his commitment to environment protection, Mayor Salva was awarded in 2008 by Bridging the Gap the David Garcia Award for Environmental Excellence.
Stan has been married to Barbara Salva for 52 years, and they are the proud parents of three children (Joe, Dan and Doug) who all live in Sugar Creek, raising eight grandchildren.
Stan is a adjunct professor teaching MBA courses at Avila and Webster Universities. He has an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Missouri and a Masters degree in Business from University of Central Missouri.
Prior to serving as Mayor of Sugar Creek, Stan spent 30 years as director of AT&T's microelectronics facility in Lee's Summit. He also worked and consulted in the manufacturing industry, operating Competitive Industrial Consultants.
