| Info | James N. Witkowiak is serving his third term as 12th District Alderman, having been elected in 1992, 1996 and 2004.
Alderman Witkowiak was born in 1949 and is a lifelong resident of the City of Milwaukee. He has extensive education and experience in the fields of business, mortuary science and engineering. He attended St. Stanislaus Elementary School, Notre Dame High School, the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Waukesha County Technical College, Worsham College and Marquette University. .
Alderman Witkowiak served honorably as a member of the United States Air Force and later the Wisconsin Air National Guard. He is a member of the George Washington American Legion Post and proudly serves as a board member of the Selective Service System.
Alderman Witkowiak previously served as the treasurer and general business manger of St. Stanislaus Church in Milwaukee. Later, he also was appointed a trustee. He has also served as a commentator at the church for many years. He is a member of the board of directors of the Greater Mitchell Street Association. Alderman Witkowiak lives at 529 W. Mitchell St.
