| Info | Sheldon was born in Corner Brook and grew up in Sop's Arm. After High School he completed a Heavy Equipment Operations course at Academy Canada in Corner Brook and went on to work with various companies including: Johnson's Construction, C-Mack Construction, Brook Enterprises and R. J. P. Seafoods.
In 2000 Sheldon attended the Nova Scotia Community College in Kentville, Nova Scotia where he completed his degree in Funeral Services Education.
Upon graduating he completed a fourteen month apprenticeship with Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd in Corner Brook. Sheldon continued to work with Fillatre until December 2002 when he moved to St. Albans and began working at Coast of Bays Funeral Home.
In June of 2004 Sheldon purchased the business and currently serves as owner operator.
Sheldon’s goal is to serve the people of the Fortune Bay - Cape La Hune district as the member in the House of Assembly. With the support of the people in the district, he is confident he can be a strong voice for the people of Fortune Bay - Cape La Hune.
Sheldon is married to Regena and together they have two boys Xander and Carter.
