InfoJoceline Schriemer was born and raised in Montmartre, Saskatchewan. She has two children, Elise and Jarrod, who both work as paramedics in the province. Joceline's interest in politics began early in life when her father ran as a Liberal candidate.

For the past 18 years, Joceline has served the city of Saskatoon as a member of the Saskatoon City Police Service.

After working as a patrol officer for ten years, Joceline was transferred to the Community Services Section of the Saskatoon Police Service. While there, she implemented the Absentee Assessment Wraparound Project - a community based, inter-agency project that provides service to truant or absentee children at the elementary school level. As a result of this work, Joceline received the 2001 Educator of Distinction Award and the 2001 International Association of Chiefs of Police Community Policing Award.

In 2004, Joceline was assigned to the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Unit and has received training at the Canadian Police College in Ottawa as a Clandestine (illegal) Laboratory Investigator.

Prior to becoming a police officer, Joceline worked in health care as an Emergency Medical Technician.

Joceline's training and experience in the Drug Unit has given her extensive knowledge and insight concerning the devastating effects that drugs and addictions have on Saskatchewan families.

Joceline was elected in November 2007 and served as Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Health for addictions. She was then appointed as Legislative Secretary to the Premier, At-Risk Youth Initiative. She is a member of the Standing Committees on Human Services and Private Bills. She is also a member of the caucus’ Standing Policy Committee for Human Services.
