| Info | Nominated by the 87th General Assembly as Illinois' 2nd Auditor General. His term started August 1, 1992 and was unanimously reappointed on August 1, 2002.
Born in 1951, Holland began his government career in 1974 as a ligislative intern with the House Majority Staff. In 1976 he was named director of the House Majority Appropriations Committee Staff. In 1980 he was appointed the first director of the General Assembly's Washington Office. From 1983-1992 Holland served as chief of staff for the Illinois Senate President.
