| Info | Andy Iwanchuk was first elected in the March 17, 2003 by-election for Saskatoon Fairview for the NDP, and then re-elected on November 5, 2003 in the general election. He received his Bachelor of Arts Advanced Degree from the University of Saskatchewan with interests in political science and sociology.
Andy has served in leadership roles in several community organizations including as a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way. He previously worked for the Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission as a Community Legal Services Worker and later as a staff representative with the Canadian Union of Public Employees in Saskatoon.
Andy serves as Chair of the Saskatoon Caucus, Government Whip, member of the Standing Committee of Intergovernmental Affairs and Infrastructure, Standing Committee on House Services, and Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
Andy was born on the family farm in the Whitkow area and now resides in Saskatoon with his wife, Angela Anderson. They have five children: Tasha, Alecia, Justin, Taylor, and Parker.
