| Info | Sonny Gallant is a lifelong resident of Miscouche. As a business person, community leader, and coach he is no stranger to doing his part in helping make Miscouche a better place to live and work.
He is Chair of the Miscouche Community Council, Director of the Acadian Purchase Trust and the Miscouche Senior Citizens Project. He has also served on the Board of the PEI Federation of Municipalities.
Sonny understands the issues that face the people of his district of Évangeline - Miscouche. “Building strong communities is number one. Our young people deserve a chance to enjoy the Island way of life. Taking care of each other and respecting our seniors is key if we are to move forward. Change is needed. Islanders need to come first.”
Sonny is keenly aware of the issues facing the people of his district. His connections made over the years in business and community organizations has given Sonny opportunities to gain more insight into the various needs and concerns of the people of Évangeline - Miscouche.
Sonny understands the challenges young people face when balancing school, part-time jobs and extra-curricular activities and believes that support and encouragement is key in helping today’s youth succeed.
Sonny Gallant and his wife Linda live in Miscouche and they have three sons.
