Burton; reelected in 1932 and served from December 1, 1930, to January 3, 1939; unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1938; chairman, Committee on Manufactures (Seventy-third through Seventy-fifth Congresses); engaged in banking; resumed the practice of law; during the Second World War served as a member of the board of appeals in visa cases; died in Cleveland, Ohio, July 21, 1965; interment in Lakeview Cemetery.
