Rep. Ray Adams, a Democrat, represents part of Jefferson County (District 101) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2002.

Rep. Adams was in the United States Air Force from 1959-63, serving on a launch crew for the Atlas F Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Program. He retired as a construction supervisor in 1997, for Union Electric after almost 34 years of service. He is also a past member of IBEW #1439.

A member of St. Luke�s United Methodist Church, Rep. Adams is also a member of Arnold Masonic Lodge # 673 AF&AM; Meramec (Arnold) Elks Lodge #2372; Arnold Police Personnel Board; and the Jefferson County Democratic Club. He is a former member of the Jefferson County Charter Commission; Arnold Jaycees; Public Safety Dispatching Board; Southern Aire Board of Trustees; Arnold Park Development Commission; Gold Land Cove Improvement Association; Hickory Square Board of Trustees; City of Arnold, councilman; Arnold Chamber of Commerce and Arnold Rotary Club.

Rep. Adams was named one of the Outstanding Young Men of America, served as Parade Marshall for the Arnold Days Celebration and received the Paul Harris Fellowship.

Rep. Adams was born February 15, 1941, in Belleville, Ill., and graduated in 1959 from Mehlville High School. He married Linda Foster in 1960 and she passed away in 1991. He married Terry Adams in 1995 and together they have a blended family of five children: Kimberly Sims, Bryan Adams, Jennifer Adams, Matt Cerutti and Michelle Cerutti; and 11 grandchildren.
