| Info | Charles Doucet is a 35-year-old physiotherapist who was born and raised in Moncton, New Brunswick. He is a graduate of both the Université de Moncton (’93) and Dalhousie University (’96), in Halifax, where he respectively received bachelors of Science in biology and physiotherapy.
He has had a keen interest in history, politics and current affairs from a very young age. Throughout his university career, he was involved in many committees and student councils including the Environment Committee of the University of Moncton and he was president of the Dalhousie Physiotherapy Student Society (’95-’96). Since his graduation, he has been employed as a private practice physiotherapist in the Moncton area.
Currently, Charles is involved in a number of committees and groups in the Greater Moncton Area. He is the current treasurer and fund-raising committee chair for the Moncton Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. He is also on the board of directors of the Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe Electoral District Association, where he acts as secretary; in addition, he has been a member of the Conservative Party of New Brunswick since 2003.
