| Info | Gene Ricciardi is the current Pittsburgh City Council President, representing District 3. He's running for District Justice this year, having beaten incumbent Eileen Conroy in the primary -- and so will be vacating his seat a year early.
A lifelong resident of the South Side, Gene graduated from Duquesne University and received a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Pittsburgh. He worked for ten years as an Urban Planner for Allegheny County prior to his election to City Council. He currently is a Trustee of Carnegie Mellon University and Carnegie Museums and Libraries of Pittsburgh and a member of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Board of Directors.
