This is the first time I've ever heard a grocery store referred to as a vegetable stand.
Probably why I shouldn't run for US Senate in Pennsylvania either.

Out here in Western PA, one of the larger local chains of "vegetable stands" is Giant Eagle. But you're not legit until you pronounce it as "John Iggle" without forcing it. As in, "I don't believe they carry "crudité" dahn'ere at the John Iggle."

Maybe it shows my level of sophistication (or my diet) that I had never heard of crudité before this kerfuffle.
Don't feel bad. You've just never been invited to an Oz party. I'm pretty sure this term is only used in Oz and the Aga Saga Womans worlds (The latter is a Catherine Tate show reference and immediately came to mind when I saw the Oz ad and I've posted a link below).
We've been work / vacationing in Northern California over the summer and have picked up the local vernacular for calling the place where you shop as a vegetable stand or farmers market. I guess I'm doing this involuntarily now as evidenced by my post. Not many chains where I'm at and many more direct farm to local retailer relationships. I've never eaten so healthy in my life LOL. No cookie aisle. No Ben & Jerry's.

I ran the numbers, and I still think the GOP can hit 51 without PA. This is turning into a write-off, despite its widespread perception as a "toss-up" race.
Tucker Carlson thinks Fetterman is an awful candidate, but he's like the only memorable figure in the modern Democratic Party. He'll probably be on the national ticket in 2028.

Whoever is managing his messaging is doing a putrid job. These are truly free ones he's giving to the Fetterman campaign.
And give Fetterman and his staff credit for taking advantage very quickly and effectively of these unforced errors by Oz.

I have heard it said that one of the most significant challenges of running a high-profile campaign is to effectively project the candidate's "true, authentic self". Well, by that measure, I'd have to say Oz's is enjoying immense success -- in spades -- because his has done such a phenomenal job of making abundantly clear just how much of an a****** this guy really is.

He's technically right if politically tone deaf.
Of course, he wasn't a politician when he said it. It is ironic that this might be a rare instance of him providing nominally accurate medical information.

Really, this is what annoys me the most about Oz. Not the elitism, the carpetbagging, the sanctimoniousness, even the puppy killing. It's that he got richer selling bullshit snake oil to gullible people.
