I love Bernie and have been following for years prior to 2016. I honestly think the Bernie bros are gonna scare off potential supporters. They have 0 filter and are foolishly dragging the rest of the field through the mud. Donald Trump is out president literally any of these candidates would be better. This is not the year to tear the Democratic Party apart.

That being sad if I had to vote today I would probably vote Bernie. Still wavering between Bernie, Kamala, and Beto however.

I would extend that to Bernie himself as much as his bros. He was running a negative campaign against Clinton even when there was no reasonable chance for him to get the nomination. I will not forgive him for that and he will not get my vote in the primaries.

Even now he refuses to attack any of the other candidates and calls them Good people.
He started out the 2016 campaign that way too, but...
You are just completely wrong.
Oh, please. These went well beyond issue disagreements and were from April and June, after Sanders had no realistic chance for the nomination. These attacks and others like them are why I didn't vote for him in the 2016 primaries and it's why I won't vote for him in the 2020 primaries.

Oh no he criticized Hillary for taking Millions from Lobbyists, those "attacks" still talk about substance as opposed to the baseless attacks he got from the Clinton camp.

You're pretty much proving TX Progressive's point and demonstrating why Bernie has become a divisive force in the Democratic Party. You are trying to tell me what I should think and ignoring the reasons why I think the way I do.
I usually vote for sincere losers in the primaries, and assumed in the beginning of the race that I would end up voting for Sanders. I wasn't a fan of Clinton's at all. Yet by the time California's primary came, Sanders' attacks and calls on the superdelegates to give him the nomination over the will of the voters made me want to see him crushed.
Ask yourself: if someone predisposed to being a Sanders supporter ends up with strongly negative feelings about him, there's a problem. Telling me I shouldn't have a problem won't make it go away.

Will of the voters? More like the will of the DNC.
Everything Bernie talks about is policy related as opposed to Clinton.
And what do you mean "calls on the superdelegates to give him the nomination" he never did that, all he dud was call out how stupid Superdelegates are.
Bernie's a nice person, and again "You are just completely wrong"

Will of the voters? More like the will of the DNC.
Vladimir is laughing his ass off that people are still repeating this. The DNC does not have mind control powers over voters. Sanders did not get enough votes, especially from African-American and Latino voters, to beat Hillary Clinton. He did not get enough pledged delegates. You would have a point if Sanders won more pledged delegates but Clinton were given the nomination. That didn't happen - Sanders just lost.
And what do you mean "calls on the superdelegates to give him the nomination" he never did that, all he dud was call out how stupid Superdelegates are.
Sigh...
Addressing reporters at the National Press Club in Washington, Sanders made a public plea for Democratic superdelegates to reconsider their allegiances to Clinton, particularly those in states where he has won nominating contests or those who committed to Clinton before he entered the race.
“They’re going to have to go into their hearts, and they are going to have to ask, do they want the second strongest candidate to run against [GOP front-runner Donald] Trump or do they want the strongest candidate?” Sanders said, suggesting that he is the strongest based on polling data. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/05/01/sanders-makes-a-public-plea-for-democratic-superdelegates-to-switch-allegiances/?utm_term=.a9d492ec31bb
Despite badly lagging in the delegate count, Bernie Sanders' campaign manager told NPR the campaign believes Sanders can and will be the Democratic nominee by winning over superdelegates at the 11th hour.
"If we can substantially close the gap between Secretary Clinton and Sen. Sanders in terms of pledged delegates," Jeff Weaver told NPR's All Things Considered, "he can go into the convention with a substantial momentum from having won the vast, vast majority of states at the end of the process."
It's a sharp contrast from earlier in the campaign when Sanders supporters called superdelegates "undemocratic" and petitioned for them to support the candidate who has the most votes by the Democratic convention this July. https://www.npr.org/2016/05/19/478705022/sanders-campaign-now-says-superdelegates-are-key-to-winning-nomination

Yeah let's completely ignore the fact that the DNC rigged the primary against him by Asking their friends in the media to suppress any coverage of him, tried to get someone to atheist shame him before the West Virginia Primary, and suppressing potential Sanders voters by having states change their rules so unaffiliated voters couldn't for him.
And how dare Bernie say "I won all 55 Counties in West Virginia, How come literally none of the superdelegates are supporting me?"
You're just validating Bernies argument.

There is no way that media coverage of Bernie was suppressed. West Virginia superdelegates weren’t obligated to support him. And lots of states had closed primaries. Quit whining. Considering that Bernie has never been a Democrat, he got pretty far. Get a thicker skin.

Were you not pay8ng attention atvall in 2016? Of course it fucking was. Ed Schultz was forbidden from covering the Sanders campaign, news networks chose to cover Trumps Empty podium than cover Bernie.
Superdelegates are stupid and should not exist, but they literally stole Bernie's pledged delegates (Hillary lost in West Virginia yet somehow got the majority of their delegates at the convention)
Yes and in those states they changed likely Bernie voters registrations to be Independent, Green, Etc to prevent them from voting in the primary. To quote myself again:

On your first point, the amount of coverage I saw was too damn much for anyone to consider it suppressed. On your other two points, give me a reliable source before I take your word for it.

Bernie Sanders didn't cost Hillary Clinton the general election in 2016. She was an exceptionally shitty candidate for a variety of reasons, all of which were readily visible over the course of decades.

Cry me a river. Every other article on the news has been about his fundraising totals. Candidates should face tough question end of story. Stop with the conspiracy theorizing about how much the media hates Bernie.
Donald Trump has received 90%+ negative coverage&you all think that is fine.

Wait, that article has an issue with where the intern worked? I interned in DC years ago. They're competitive and sometimes you take an internship for the sake of boosting your resume so you can get a real job and not be some "activist" for life. It doesn't always represent your political views and interns are rarely the plants people use for these sorts of things. The intern happens to work at a lobbying firm, she also happened to get access to the townhall, and was able to ask a question. If we're going to get super paranoid that everyone who asks a policy question doesn't reveal any possible connection to anything that may have influenced their political opinions, then we can all sit down and STFU right now.

"CNN called Tara Ebersole a 'former biology professor' when her LinkedIn page lists her current job description as 'Chair, Baltimore County Democratic Party' since 2016. Further, her husband was part of Hillary Clinton's leadership council in Baltimore in 2016."

Really? That's is my only answer to that conspiracy theory of yours as it is not worth my breath.
As a proud left-wing supporter of Medicare-for-All, GND and Bernie Sanders those conspiracy theories make me utterly sick.
Let us remember this, NO CANDIDATE IS PERFECT!
(I feel like my grandma when I talk like that)

The mainstream media has already begun their anti-Bernie campaign
They never stopped.
