The vote totals below show the unofficial total of Rock Island County only. Each individual county held caucuses to select delegates for the Congressional convention held on May 4, 1900. The votes below do not reflect the outcome of the convention.
Charles J. Searle won the Rock Island County caucus held on February 23rd by a large margin winning all of the counties 37 delegates. Rep. George Prince went on to win all the remaining five counties and all of the counties combined 127 delegates. George McCaskrin and any other candidate that had sought the nomination were eliminated at the local caucuses.
