| Description |
Wurzbach contested the election of McCloskey and was seated in his place on February 10, 1930.
McCloskey had a 319 vote lead in the official results. The recount began on January 30th, 1930 with the opening of an 'empty' ballot box that produced 430 votes for Wurzbach and 172 votes for McCloskey.
At was at this point that McCloskey conceded the election and the House chose to seat Wurzbach.
