Description |
State Senator Pete Inverso, one of a handful of remaining members of the Class of 1991, is seeking his fifth term in a Mercer County district that remains incredibly Democratic.
Inverso drew a strong challenger in Plumeri last time around and held on by 4 points while McGreevey was absolutely devastating Bret Schundler in the district.
A heavily Democratic district such as this one has an endless stream of strong Democratic challengers to go after Inverso. This time around, Democrats are likely to choose former Assemblyman Anthony "Skip" Cimino.
Can Inverso win a fifth term against yet another strong challenger? Or will his luck finally run out?
