The Democratic Party is in crisis, they also got an image problem as this party of rich coastal elites.
they need to focus more on meat and potato issues like women's sports and putting tariffs on things

Keith Ellison says Martin is the guy, and since Ellison's been proven right on basically everything since 2015; I will never doubt him again

Keith Ellison:
-Predicted Trump would be the nominee and that the Dems needed to run a campaign that focused on down to earth issues. CORRECT
-Stated that to move forward the DNC would need to transition away from the Clinton Era into an era of Populism. CORRECT
-Predicted under Trump the criminal justice system would be skewed Rightward, so worked to help people from within via Attorney General.
All I am seein are W's

Although I think Ken Martin is the best choice here, I'd just be happy so as long as it's not Rahm Emanuel.

You can't make this up.
A DNC member literally was kicked from a Zoom Call by Marianne Williamson before he got to ask her a question about "ACCESSABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY!"

Most of my friend group on the left are going for Wikler here, but I think Martin will pull it off. He has the most institutional support from what I've seen.

I made a whole Podcast showing why Wikler's not the ideal choice, and it boils down to the fact I think he's a bit closer to the Democratic Party as it is as opposed to what the party SHOULD BE. And it can be perfectly exemplified by how Ben and Ken reacted to the possibility of people opposing Joe Biden.
While both endorsed his re-election bid, not unexpected as they are both Party Chairs, they both had different approaches to opposition to Biden. Ben played an active role to prevent Biden from getting a Primary Challenger on the ballot in Wisconsin, Dean Phillips had to sue to get on the ballot. Whereas Ken Martin allowed EIGHT challengers to Biden to run in Minnesota.
So Ben is a lot more culpable for the situation Dems are in right now

I listened to that episode, you made some good points. I like what Martin plans to do for the Democratic Party, I looked at both of their platforms and ultimately decided that Martin IMO is the better candidate. Wikler, as you mentioned, just seems to be more favorable to the establishment, and he helped prevent Biden's opponents from getting on the ballot.
Also, funny enough, as I was reading your message, I was listening to the podcast episode you put out about a few hours ago about how based US politicians are.

It seems most of the praise for Wikler stems from his accomplishments as Party Chair, while commendable and I don't take that away from him, aren't as big as Ken's no.
If we had it my way, Dems need to burn the party to the ground and build something from the ashes. But that's not happening, the closest thing to that is Ken who wants to rebuild the party.
I'm doing better today, I think it's finally starting to pass

That’s good to hear. I was originally split between Martin and Wikler but upon further research have decided to throw my (totally meaningful) support to Martin. I hope it’s him but I wouldn’t be completely dissapointed if it is Wikler because Wikler doesn’t seem like the WORST option.

Its not even just WHO the Dems Pick. Its what they DO once picked.
Howard Dean was once the hip new Progressive Icon and he lead the Dems to victory in 2006 and 2008, and what fundamentally changed afterwards?
